Bespoke Dog Bath

Our client was having trouble finding a dog washing unit that catered to smaller dog breeds as most are designed specifically for larger dogs. Our project brief was to build a bespoke unit from stainless steel aimed at smaller dog breed that can be watertight and accommodate showering facilities.

Work Outcome

The base will be constructed from 40mm x 40mm stainless steel box section for the legs and 25mm x 25mm box section for the cross members. The bath itself would be folded from sheet and welded, with a formed return around the edge. The waste will be recessed into the base of the bath so as not to protrude above the surface causing a water trap. The splash back and sides will be folded from sheet with a formed return on the edge. The splashback and sides will be nut and bolted to the bath with a silicon seal between, the tap and shower unit will be mounted on the right hand side section of the splash back. There will also be an attachment to hold the shower head. The whole bath unit will then be welded to the base unit.
